We are now looking for a Senior Textile Constructor – Autodesk Inventor & Mechanical.

This is initially a 12-month consultancy assignment via Unik Resurs with good opportunities for extension.

Tasks and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a senior professional in textile construction. The assignment is located in Linköping and involves working closely with design and development teams on product development throughout the entire chain – from idea and concept to finished product and manufacturing documentation.

You will be part of a business that develops advanced solutions within maintenance systems, with a focus on quality, function, sustainability, and technical precision.

About the Assignment

In this role, you will work with the design and construction of textile and mechanical products within Ground Support Equipment. The assignment covers the entire development process where you refine requirements into conceptual solutions, create 2D drawings and 3D models, and develop complete manufacturing documentation for prototype and series production.

You are responsible for ensuring that the constructions meet requirements related to:

• Material selection
• Function and performance
• Aesthetics
• Maintainability
• Chemical content
• Manufacturability

The work is carried out in close collaboration with various specialist functions and may also involve travel to other business locations, customers, and Swedish Armed Forces units.

Your Profile

Requirements

• Several years of experience in construction and product development
• Experience in the development of textile products/materials
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor
• Experience with Autodesk Mechanical
• Experience in creating manufacturing documentation
• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience with Vault or other PDM systems
• Experience with aviation safety equipment
• Experience with airborne maintenance equipment or other aviation material
