About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will work within our large service agreements for distribution networks, maintaining overhead line and underground cable networks at various voltage levels.
In the role of Project Manager, you are expected to create good conditions for the technicians in the field and drive the work forward with a focus on safety, quality, and engagement. You contribute to the development of the business and strengthen cooperation with customers and suppliers. Safety always comes first at Vattenfall Services, and together we create Sweden's safest workplace!
You work primarily from the office but are also out on site. The work is independent, but at the same time, it requires a strong focus on collaboration and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Some of your main tasks:
- Responsible for commercial planning and the execution of projects through team leadership and coordination.
- Inform and report on the project status to the client.
- Responsible for the financial outcome of projects/orders, as well as handling closures and financial follow-ups.
- Participate in construction meetings and negotiations with customers.
- Risk management.
- Actively contribute to creating Sweden's safest workplace together.
Travel is a natural part of the work as a Project Manager. Projects within the service agreements require shorter day trips within the nearest geographical area.
Requirements
As a Project Manager here, you will be the primary contact for the technicians for the work performed in the field. Leadership is a large part of everyday life, which is why we are looking for you who has a problem-solving and coaching approach.
Aside from leadership, a large part of the work is being able to independently drive projects forward. We are therefore looking for you who wants to take responsibility and has a great commitment to your assignments. You are motivated by offering service and quality to your colleagues and customers, you act commercially with good entrepreneurship, and you would never let profitability come before safety. At Vattenfall Services, safety always comes first!
We know that you will develop together with us. But we would like you to already have:
- A completed upper secondary education or higher, preferably within electricity, technology, economics, or another relevant field.
- Work experience in team leadership or project management.
- Work experience within the electricity sector or general electrical knowledge is meritorious but not a requirement.
- Experience from the contracting industry is meritorious.
- Computer proficiency (Office package) and experience with process-controlled work in case management systems.
- B-driver's license, as day trips occur in the role.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. English is meritorious.
