At Aeronautics' business unit Advanced Programs, we are now looking for additional Systems Engineers to join the Overall Design section within Weapon System & Overall Aircraft. We are shaping the combat aircraft systems of the future, where autonomous platforms, sensors, and decision-making functions collaborate – and we need you to ensure that this functional and technological growth performs as desired in all phases of the system. Your Role

As a Systems Engineer within Overall Design, you work at a high level to ensure, using various methods and tools, that the system's properties are balanced and together deliver the desired performance while meeting requirements such as cost-effectiveness and availability.

Your knowledge is broad rather than deep, and your deliverables enable continued development at the detailed level of respective subsystems. You work closely with chief engineers, system architects, and subsystem experts. Here, you have a unique opportunity to oversee the development of next-generation combat aircraft systems and gain insight into some of the most important technologies in the field.

Your Profile

The profile we are looking for:

• Has a technical education equivalent to at least a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and an analytical mindset.
• Is communicative and open to broad collaborations. We tackle this together!
• Has the ability to adapt to change and think innovatively.
• Communicates effectively in Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you also:

• Have a few years of experience in Systems-of-Systems development or the development of a subsystem in a complex product.
• Have experience with flying systems and the additional complexity it requires.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
