We are now looking for an Electronic Design Engineer for our design department!

We are now looking for an Electronic Design Engineer with experience in embedded systems and industrial-grade design – a key person who wants to help develop robust, high-quality products from idea to production.

About the role

As an Electronic Design Engineer, you work through the entire development chain – from requirements analysis and concept development to design, verification, and handover to production. You will have a varied role where you combine electronics design, embedded programming, and system integration.

You will become an important part of cross-functional teams and contribute both technically and strategically to development projects.

Example of tasks

• Design and development of electronics for new products and prototypes.
• System integration between mechanics and electronics.
• Schematic design, PCB layout, and BOM management.
• Implementation and testing of embedded software (C/C++).
• Driver development for sensors and communication interfaces.
• Testing and verification of hardware and software.
• EMC analysis and design improvements.
• Production support and test strategies during the introduction of new circuit boards.
• Development of test fixtures for circuit boards, modules, and end products.
• Documentation of design, test results, and technical specifications.
• Participation in customer and sales meetings, as well as support with cost estimates in the quotation process.
• Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).

Technical competence

We would like you to have experience in:

Electronics design and embedded systems. Knowledge in the EMC area, productization, and prototype development for manufacturability is a plus.

Your profile

To succeed in the role, we believe you are systematic and meticulous in both design and documentation. A skilled problem solver who enjoys working in cross-functional teams. You are independent and proactive, with the ability to keep the big picture in focus at the same time. You likely have a degree from a university or college with a technical focus. You are fluent in both English and Swedish.
