Personal Assistant at Saga Omsorg

Saga Omsorg provides personal assistance in accordance with the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). We work to safeguard the client's self-determination, good living conditions, and freedom in everyday life, in collaboration with the personal assistant.

At Saga Omsorg, commitment and good relationships are key words in our daily work. You will have close and accessible contact with your nearest manager. We have a collective agreement and a license to provide assistance from the Swedish Inspectorate of Care and Health (IVO).

About the client

The client is an adult woman living alone in her own apartment. Her disability requires assistance with transfers and all aspects of household management. She uses a wheelchair/Permobil. She is very interested in music and enjoys attending various events. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Your qualifications

We prefer female applicants with some experience working with people. Good Swedish skills, both spoken and written, are required as documentation is part of the job.

Working hours and other details

Working hours are typically between 10:00–10:00 every day of the week.
Wait time is approximately 7 hours per night.
Travel may be required as part of the job.
Small dogs are sometimes present at the client's home, so you must not be allergic to dogs or afraid of them.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the introduction process takes place on two occasions (more if needed). A certificate of good conduct (police extract) is required.
