For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential care (HVB) and open care for children, young people, and families, emergency and foster homes, addiction care, supported apartments, interventions against honor-based violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We offer counseling and education and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
Hagen Treatment Home is located in Kullavik, 2 miles south of Gothenburg, and has two treatment wards; Överhuset (7 places for youth aged 14–18) and Nederhuset (6 places for children/youth aged 9–14) with 24-hour operations. Hagen's treatment wards receive both boys and girls, with placements based on the Social Services Act (2025:400) and the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Young People (1990:52).
We are now seeking three treatment pedagogues for night shifts at Nederhuset, permanent employment at 78.16% with start date as agreed.

Job Responsibilities
What does the role entail?
We work from an environmental therapeutic approach. As a treatment assistant on night duty, your tasks involve care and supervision of the young people. Evening and night hours focus on maintaining safety, calm, and security. You should be a secure adult available in the evenings and nights if anyone is worried or sad.
At Hagen, we have a sleeping on-call staff member whom you will work alongside. The awake night staff has primary responsibility for any incidents that arise after the sleeping staff has gone to bed. If needed, the sleeping staff is woken up. Acute situations may arise that require handling, such as absconding and medical visits. As a treatment pedagogue on night duty, you need to document in our documentation system. Practical and administrative tasks, such as cleaning during the night, are also included.
Qualifications
Who are you?
We are looking for you with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or equivalent, focused on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. Experience working with children and young people in vulnerable life situations, as well as good knowledge of legislation in the field, is meritorious. We seek someone who is secure and stable and has the ability to create calm and security. You are responsible, possess personal maturity, and have good self-awareness. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Since the work may involve travel, a valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
