Masaki Sushi i Borås AB is looking for a sushi chef for Asian Fusion Alingsås, located at Stora Torget 4, 441 30 Alingsås.

We are looking for someone with experience working as a sushi chef who wants to work in a kitchen with a fast pace, high quality, and clear routines.

The tasks include preparing and cooking sushi according to the restaurant's menu. You will work with rice, fish, shellfish, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients used in sushi and Asian dishes.

The role also involves slicing fish, rolling maki, making nigiri, preparing sides, plating food attractively, and ensuring consistent quality. You will also be responsible for prep work, cleaning, self-control checks, and food hygiene.

We are looking for someone with experience as a sushi chef or cook in an Asian restaurant. You should have good knowledge of sushi, ingredient handling, hygiene routines, and working in a restaurant kitchen.

You must be able to work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and work efficiently even during busy periods. You should also be able to collaborate with other staff in the kitchen and service areas.

You need to be able to communicate in daily work in at least one of the following languages: Swedish, English, Chinese, or Vietnamese.
