About the role

This is a 12-month fixed-term position, an opportunity to step into a business-close role where you will become part of the procurement team based at Iver's office in Alingsås. Here you will have the mandate, pace, and influence in a role where you are expected to take responsibility and make a difference from day one. As a strategic buyer, you have overall responsibility for your categories within indirect procurement.

In the role, you will:

• Drive category strategies, tenders, and supplier negotiations.
• Develop and monitor supplier partnerships over time.
• Work actively with cost optimization and business improvement.
• Collaborate closely with the business and support procurement-related decisions.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives within your category.
• Ensure that procurement is conducted in accordance with guidelines and contracts.

With a clear business focus, you ensure that the right suppliers, terms, and quality are in place for every business unit.

Personal qualities and qualifications

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in strategic procurement and are confident in independently driving procurement processes and supplier negotiations. You take ownership of your areas and thrive in a role where you can combine structure, business acumen, and continued development. You work methodically with follow-up, improvement, and cost optimization, and have an ambition to develop further within business-driven procurement and category management.

As a person, you are flat-hierarchy-minded, solution-oriented, and communicative, with a clear business mindset and the ability to see both details and maintain a holistic perspective. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of Excel.

It is meritorious if you have experience in indirect procurement and category management, relevant education in procurement or equivalent, and a good understanding of contract law and legal aspects within the procurement field.
