About the role

As a traffic planner with us, you work broadly with strategic planning, traffic investigations, and the implementation of measures throughout the municipality. You will become an important part of how we create safe, accessible, and sustainable traffic environments for everyone who lives, works, and studies in Täby.

You will, among other things:

• Lead and conduct traffic investigations, often linked to detailed plans and urban development projects
• Develop and follow up on action plans for traffic safety, accessibility, and sustainable travel
• Participate in the municipality's planning processes and collaborate with other departments and external actors
• Handle inquiries from residents in a clear, professional, and service-oriented manner
• Contribute expert competence in various projects and political decision-making materials

Who we are looking for

We believe you are confident in your professional role, appreciate order and structure – and at the same time value collaboration and sharing knowledge with others.

We would like you to have:

• A Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in similar work within traffic planning
• Experience with traffic investigations linked to detailed plans and civil engineering projects
• Experience in dealing with residents and other stakeholders in a clear and respectful manner
• Good knowledge of the Office package and a valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious if you also have:

• Municipal experience and familiarity with municipal planning processes
• Experience with action selection studies and project design
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Capcal, and preferably also InDesign
