About the role
As Breakfast Manager, you play a key role in giving our guests the best start to their day. You lead the breakfast operation – from planning and staffing to quality, service, and product development. You are a present leader in daily operations.
The role combines operational work in the kitchen and breakfast dining room with personnel responsibility, follow-up, and development of routines – in an environment where the pace can be high, but the atmosphere is warm.
Your main responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and schedule the team, as well as conduct daily follow-ups.
- Ensure the breakfast buffet is complete, fresh, and visually inviting according to set standards, and continuously develop these.
- Work operationally in the kitchen and service – be present for both guests and employees.
- Responsible for orders, stock levels, and ensuring purchases match occupancy and cost targets.
- Handle guest feedback in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
- Introduce, train, and coach new and existing employees in routines, service, and safety.
- Ensure the kitchen, breakfast dining room, and serving areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Monitor and drive routines for hygiene, self-control, and food safety (HACCP).
Who are you?
You have both kitchen experience and familiarity with dining room work, and you are passionate about creating memorable breakfast experiences. You are service-oriented, innovative, and have a commercial mindset – you understand key figures, quality, visual expression, and the needs of our guests.
As a leader, you are present, clear, and coaching; you motivate the team, follow up on results, and find solutions when needed. You are structured, unpretentious, and maintain your composure even at a high pace, and you enjoy developing the breakfast offering, routines, and work processes.
Qualifications
- Experience from kitchen, breakfast, restaurant, and/or hotel operations in leadership roles.
- Good knowledge of service and hospitality, with a focus on guest experience.
- Experience in staffing and workforce management.
- Very good sense of quality, hygiene, and food safety.
- Communicative, solution-oriented, and confident in the role as a role model for the team.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
