We are now recruiting summer substitutes and hourly employees for the summer of 2026 at Fridhemslund in Ängelholm. You will receive introductory training with valuable knowledge about care and service.

About the role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see every individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those living with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

As a nursing assistant or care aide, you play a key role in a team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists who work closely together.

About Fridhemslund

In the municipality of Ängelholm lies beautiful Fridhemslund, a new nursing home in the growing district of Fridhem. Fridhem is located in a completely new central district in Ängelholm. The area is south of Ängelholm's sports arena, within walking distance to both the sea and the city center, with proximity to the train station and bus lines. The facility has 40 places for people with dementia and 40 for those with care needs.

• We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg conducts various activities to add a golden touch to the lives of our residents.
• Group Managers: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.
• Animals in care: Here we work with animals in care, and we have regular visits from therapy animals.

Your experience and knowledge

We guess that you who apply to us:

• Are attracted to a job that is varied and requires great knowledge of care and service, but also a talent for meeting people in different situations.
• Are a creative person who dares to think independently and take responsibility.
• Enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.

We would prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant/care aide or have equivalent experience working in elderly care.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
