Götmars is a family-owned company offering services related to the different stages of life. With family legal services and funeral services, Götmars is a secure support throughout life. In total, the group has about 20 funeral advisors in various locations around Örebro and Västerås, as well as about twenty lawyers and estate administrators active at the offices in Örebro and Västerås.

Götmars now needs to further strengthen its team with two funeral advisors, based in Säter.

Two Funeral Advisors for Götmars

As a funeral advisor, your work involves meeting people in grief and arranging funerals according to personal wishes. We who work as funeral advisors truly feel that the work we do is meaningful and that we have chosen the right profession. If you are the person we describe, we would like to hear from you! We are now looking for two new colleagues to join us, based in Säter.

This is our offer and thus your upcoming tasks:

• Advice and overall responsibility for funeral assignments.
• Arranging funerals, both civil and religious according to different faiths.
• Representing at funerals, farewells, and memorial services.
• Assisting in the planning of future funerals.
• Supporting families throughout the entire planning process.
• Casket handling and transport of the deceased (includes tasks involving heavy lifting).
• Contact with customers and guests regarding e.g., memorial gifts and general questions.

People come to us to bury a relative who has passed away due to old age, but also people who have lost loved ones too early due to illness or accident. When you come to us, we see the importance of personal treatment, and despite the situation itself, you should feel a sense of security and calm. As a funeral advisor, we are the support throughout the entire process; we are also present at the actual funeral for practical and personal support.

Who fits with us? We who work as funeral advisors have different backgrounds and experiences. The important thing is that you have a good manner and the ability to build relationships with different people in a special situation in life. Experience in customer service in some form is meritorious, and you are accustomed to working in an environment where there is sometimes a high pace.

The role requires that you are good at communicating and building trust, while having integrity as your safe foundation. You will have a coordinating role, so it is important to be precise, able to handle multiple tasks in parallel, and to have a strong administrative streak. Providing good service is important to you, and your personality is characterized by always giving the customer the best.

A B-driver's license is required, as well as good computer skills. We work in our own developed system, BitNet, and of course in MS Office. Knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is meritorious.

The positions are full-time during daytime hours.
