Tormets Oy is a Finnish industrial company with extensive experience in industrial services, maintenance, engineering, and project deliveries to the mining, steel, and process industries. We are now looking for a business-driven and entrepreneurial leader who wants to take responsibility for our continued expansion in the Swedish market.

As Site Manager / Country Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading Tormets' Swedish operations and positioning the company as a long-term partner in industrial services and maintenance in northern Sweden.
ABOUT THE ROLEIn this role, you are responsible for developing the business, building customer relationships, and creating long-term growth in the Swedish market. You will work closely with customers in the mining, steel, energy, and process industries while further building the organization and developing operations in Sweden.
You will report directly to the management in Finland and receive significant authority to influence both business, organization, and future development.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and lead Tormets' Swedish operations
- Drive business development and sales towards industrial customers in northern Sweden
- Build long-term customer relationships and develop service and maintenance agreements
- Identify new business opportunities and create growth
- Recruit, develop, and lead the company's employees
- Ensure high quality, safety, and delivery capability
- Responsible for the company's results and development
- Develop collaboration between the Swedish and Finnish organizations
- Represent Tormets in customer meetings, negotiations, and networking
Have experience leading operations, business areas, or larger industrial organizations and thrive in a role where business, relationships, and leadership are at the center.
We believe you have experience from industrial services, maintenance, project operations, or other heavy industry and that you are accustomed to working closely with customers, business, and operations.
WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE- Several years of experience from industrial services, maintenance, or technical industrial operations
- Experience in sales, business development, and customer responsibility
- Documented leadership experience
- Experience with budget, profit/loss, or operational responsibility
- Ability to create long-term customer relationships
- Good understanding of the industry's requirements for quality, safety, and delivery capability
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Experience from the mining, steel, or process industries
- Existing network within the industry in Norrbotten
- Experience in setting up or developing operations
- Experience with Nordic or international organizations
- Knowledge of Finnish
