Quotation Engineer

Scandia Pumps is growing and is now looking for a technical inside sales representative/quotation engineer to join our team in Kungsbacka. We offer

  • Salary 45,000–50,000 SEK/month

Qualifications
  • Technical post-secondary education or equivalent work experience considered equivalent
  • Good ability to communicate with customers, both verbally and in writing
  • Good command of Swedish and English
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems and products quickly
Merits
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience with pumps, pump stations, or related areas
  • Experience from the water and wastewater industry and/or industrial sectors
  • Experience with procurement processes, both private and public

We prefer candidates who have previously worked in similar roles or other customer-facing positions. About the role This is a qualified role where you work with both sales and technical advisory. Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • Prepare quotations for both standard and customized solutions
  • Analyze customer needs and select the right technical solution
  • Work closely with sales, customers, and technical teams
  • Provide technical support and relieve our technical organization
  • Follow up on quotations and drive business forward

We primarily serve customers within the Water and Wastewater and Industrial sectors. The role involves frequent contact both internally and externally. Tasks Based on inquiry documents and customer needs, you will select the right products regarding technical requirements and applicable standards, compiling them into a complete quotation. The work involves problem-solving, and in your daily tasks, you will maintain an ongoing dialogue with customers, the sales organization, and other stakeholders via phone and email. You will primarily work with Scandia Pumps' existing customers, helping them find solutions. The main focus is on existing customers, but new customer acquisition is also included. To succeed in this role, you need a good technical understanding and a willingness to understand customer needs. The role also includes responding to incoming inquiries and providing technical support together with colleagues. You are responsible for ongoing sales administration, quotations, follow-ups, and order placement. About Scandia Pumps Scandia Pumps in Kungsbacka develops, manufactures, and sells pumps and complete pump stations for water and wastewater (VA), plumbing (VVS), and industry in the Nordic region. We combine technical competence with fast service and long-term customer relationships.
