About Us

The Medical Clinic at Nyköping Hospital has two wards, floor 7 and 8. Floor 8 also houses MIMA, where experienced nurses work as resources and support for the entire wards. Many of our nurses rotate between the wards and MIMA, offering a unique chance to develop broad competence in internal medicine and emergency care.

We work with continuous improvements and deepened knowledge. Every other week, we hold "knowledge coffee" sessions.

We operate completely without agency nurses – our own employees are the strength of our operations.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you work in care teams with assistant nurses and doctors, which provides short decision-making paths and high patient safety.

We primarily care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, kidney and lung diseases, as well as more severe infections. The ward has cardiac monitoring, meaning you will also gain experience caring for patients with arrhythmias or suspected heart attacks.

Here, you will gain a broad competence base and the opportunity to grow – both in daily work and through planned further education.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.

Experience in emergency care, cardiac monitoring, or the Cosmic medical record system is meritorious.

As a person, you are secure, cooperative, and engaged. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent employment with start date as agreed.

Day and evening shifts, 2 out of 5 weekends. Possibility of night shifts for those who wish.

Newly graduated nurses are offered the region's introduction program.
