Your Workplace

We are now looking for you who want to make a real difference. We are hiring a special needs teacher/project manager for the development project "The Whole Way," a strategic and operationally close assignment focused on strengthening the quality of the adapted school.

Your primary workplace will be at the adapted primary school in Hudiksvall Municipality, but the assignment involves close collaboration with the adapted upper secondary school at Bromangymnasiet and the Central Student Health Services. Within the adapted primary school, there are two lead teachers tasked with working on this development area together with you and the school's special needs teacher.

The assignment is organizational and development-oriented. You will work on developing and implementing:

• Individualized working methods and teaching strategies
• Common routines for special support and action plans
• Clear structures for goals, follow-up, and communication
• Effective collaboration forms between pedagogical staff and student health services
• Systematic quality work linked to students' needs

The background is an identified need to strengthen equity, individualization, and coordination within the operations for students with intellectual disabilities. You will become a key person in work aimed at creating sustainable structures and increased goal achievement for the students.

Your Responsibilities

As a special needs teacher/project manager, you lead the development work within the project and are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on interventions.

You will, among other things:

• Drive the project forward and coordinate interventions between schools and student health services
• Map, analyze, and develop existing working methods
• Evaluate and develop routines for special support
• Develop material banks and alternative working methods for teaching
• Support teachers in the work with individualization and goal-setting
• Plan and conduct workshops and competence development
• Create structures for monitoring students' needs and progression
• Contribute to clear roles and well-functioning collaboration between professional groups

The work involves both strategic and operational parts, where you switch between analysis, development, implementation, and support in operations.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a special needs teacher or a teacher with special needs pedagogical competence. You have experience working with students in need of special support, preferably within adapted schools, and an interest in driving development work at the organizational level. You have the ability to gain mandate in a staff group.
