West School is centrally located in Hudiksvall Municipality. Our school offers a primary school (grades F-6), an adapted primary school (grades 1-6), and an after-school center. Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach music, or an after-school teacher with music qualifications, for the primary school (grades 1-6) at West School. As a teacher here, you will be responsible for planning and conducting instruction, as well as assessing students' knowledge development in the subject. You will also collaborate with other educators to support students in reaching their full potential in their knowledge development. We offer a position ranging from 50% to 100%. Collaboration with a nearby school may be possible to achieve a 100% position.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a teaching degree with qualifications to teach music, or an after-school teacher with music qualifications. Previous experience working with students within the neurodevelopmental spectrum (NPF) is considered meritorious. As a person, you are independent, relationship-building, and clear in your leadership. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in change. We appreciate that you have good leadership skills and can create engagement and participation among students. Furthermore, you are outgoing and have a good ability to establish and maintain relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews will be held continuously throughout the recruitment process, and employment may take place before the final application deadline.

We teach children to read, calculate, and discover the world around them. Here, we follow our youngest municipal residents from preschool until they graduate from high school. Through our adult education programs, one can learn Swedish as a second language, take individual courses, or pursue longer education.
