We welcome a new colleague to Vårdcentralen Hertig Knut, a health centre where we place great emphasis on an open working climate where we respect and communicate with each other.
Job Responsibilities
Here you will work independently with our diabetes clinic, providing advice, support, and education to patients. You will also work in a team together with doctors and other professions at the health centre.
As a diabetes nurse/registered nurse with us, you may, among other things, work with:
- own diabetes clinic with both new visits, follow-ups, and medication adjustments
- prescribing consumable items within diabetes care
- staffing our telephone advice service
- both physical visits and digital care meetings
Depending on the degree of employment, there may also be additional routine tasks at the district nurse clinic.
About the Workplace
Vårdcentralen Hertig Knut is a medium-sized health centre with approximately 9,500 registered patients. The operations are located in the centre of Halmstad. The health centre consists of a doctor's clinic and a district nurse clinic, a sampling lab, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychologist, social worker, child health centre, and specialist clinics for asthma/COPD and diabetes.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained as a district nurse or alternatively a registered nurse with competence and education in the diabetes field. You are a service-oriented and solution-focused person with a good manner of dealing with people. You find it easy to collaborate and thrive working in a team. At the health centre, it is also required that you can work independently and have the ability to be flexible. We also see that you have commitment and a desire to actively contribute to the development of our operations. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
