to apply for the job

This is your opportunity to step into an innovative deep-tech company where research, development, and production happen side by side – and where quality is a crucial part of success. You will become part of a small and engaged team, working closely with production, development, and industrialization in a business that is still in an exciting growth phase.

This is not a traditional quality role in a mature organization with rigid frameworks and long decision-making processes. Here, a lot is happening, decisions are made quickly, and the work is characterized by curiosity, collaboration, and the desire to build something long-term together. For the right person, this means a real opportunity to influence and help shape both working methods and future structures.

About the Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will work broadly with quality issues related to process, production, and product development. One day you might analyze production data to identify trends or root causes behind deviations; the next day, you sit with the development team discussing how to ensure quality in the next step of industrialization. The role involves many touchpoints, and you will work closely with researchers, engineers, production staff, and management.

The environment is data-driven, and the quality team actively works with statistics, SPC, and analysis tools to understand processes and drive improvements. At the same time, the role is just as much about communication and collaboration – being able to bring others along, create understanding for quality, and contribute structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

You will be responsible for, among other things:

  • Data analysis, trend monitoring, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Root cause analysis and improvement work
  • Quality tools such as RCA, PFMEA, and DFMEA
  • Process and product quality close to production
  • Customer and supplier-related quality issues
  • Further developing quality processes and working methods as the company grows
We believe you

Have a few years of experience in quality work within manufacturing industry and thrive in an environment where technology, production, and problem-solving are at the center. You have likely worked closely with processes and production before and are comfortable using data to understand problems and drive improvements.

We also believe that you:

  • Have experience with SPC and statistical analysis
  • Have worked with quality tools such as RCA, PFMEA, or DFMEA
  • Understand QMS and quality work in an industrial environment
  • Have a technical educational background, preferably in production, materials, chemistry, or a similar field
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment where not everything is fully defined

It is an advantage if you have experience with analysis tools such as JMP or Minitab, and if you have previously worked in process industry, materials technology, or another high-tech manufacturing environment.

Great emphasis will be placed on personality, and we believe you are a curious, humble, and collaborative person who likes to take responsibility and contribute where needed. Here, we help each other, work closely together, and build on the business as a team.

The company is a leading Swedish technology firm within materials and energy technology. Here, research, development, and production are combined in an innovative environment where new ideas can quickly be turned into reality.
