We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager for a comprehensive industrial and construction project in Boden. The role involves being a central part of the contract and project organization, responsible for supporting project management, construction management, and other stakeholders in matters concerning contracts, commercial risks, and change management.

You will be part of a cross-functional team and work closely with project management, legal, finance, engineering, and other business areas to ensure that contracts are handled efficiently and commercially throughout the various phases of the project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for contract management and administration towards contractors on the construction site.
• Work as an integrated part of the project's cross-functional site organization.
• Identify, analyze, and manage contractual and commercial risks, and propose and implement risk-reducing measures.
• Support the project and contract team in developing contract strategies.
• Handle and follow up on Change Requests, Change Orders, and claim matters.
• Participate in the review and analysis of contracts prior to negotiations and decisions.
• Ensure a uniform interpretation of contract terms and handling of contract-related issues.
• Provide support in contractual matters and correspondence, both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with functions such as legal, engineering, finance, and project management.
• Contribute to the identification, analysis, follow-up, and management of the project's risks and opportunities.
• Ensure that work is conducted according to the company's processes, routines, and governing documents.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as a Contract Manager within large construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• University education in law, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Documented experience in contract management in complex project environments.
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Good ability to express yourself clearly and professionally in English as well.
• Experience in handling contract changes, claim management, and commercial risks.
