Your future challenge

Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik is in an expansion phase. To meet the high demand, BAE Systems Hägglunds is recruiting a Strategic Buyer for Indirect Procurement.

We are currently 22 driven and engaged employees working as buyers within Indirect Procurement. Indirect Procurement handles purchases in categories such as; Real Estate, Transport, Travel, Patents, Machinery Investments, Chemicals, Consumables, Security, Consultants, and IT.

The position to be filled now has a focus on Consultant Services. You will be part of a team of 4 people.

As a Buyer, you will work in a varied and stimulating environment where you have contact points internally with most departments and functions, as well as with our suppliers.

Tasks in this role within this category include, among other things:

• Supplier and contract responsibility
• Supplier development (relationships, KPIs, and innovations)
• Tendering
• Inquiries/Quotation evaluations
• Supplier evaluations
• Contracts (writing and project management)
• Risk assessments
• Create and implement procurement strategies
• Lead cross-functional teams in projects/contracts
• Target cost management

We work in category teams composed of different roles and specialists.

Who you are

We are looking for you who have experience in purchasing consultants or alternatively experience within HR or law. You have a relevant university degree or other relevant education in e.g., procurement, HR, law, or economics.

As a person, you are good at communicating and creating good relationships and collaborations. You have a strong internal drive. You are goal-oriented with the ability to lead, plan, and follow up on both your own and others' work in a structured and meticulous manner. You have a long-term strategic approach and a strong commercial interest.
