About the role

Are you a skilled fitter with an eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship? We are now looking for experienced fitters for an exciting assignment with our client in Gothenburg, a leading actor specialized in interior solutions. As a fitter, you will work with everything from retail store fittings to furniture for offices and preschools. Here you have the opportunity to combine technical knowledge with problem-solving in a role where your expertise makes a difference to the final result.

Responsibilities

In the role as a fitter, you will:

• Perform installation and assembly of loose and fixed fittings in stores, offices, and public environments.
• Read, interpret, and execute assembly based on technical drawings.
• Find unique, needs-adapted solutions and customizations on-site at the customer.
• Lead and distribute work tasks within projects and act as a role model for colleagues.
• Perform repairs, modifications, and restoration of existing fittings.
• Handle logistics regarding goods, carrying in, and waste disposal after assembly.
• Be responsible for time reporting, budget monitoring, and documentation of deviations.

Your profile

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• A high school education, preferably with a technical focus, as well as work experience from similar roles.
• Experience in carpentry or other craft trades is highly meritorious.
• Very good experience in handling different types of tools and fastening materials.
• Ability to read and work from drawings with high precision.
• Driver's license category B (required).
• Fluent Swedish and good English skills, as you have direct customer contact and work according to written descriptions.
• As a person, you are meticulous, solution-oriented, and communicative. You enjoy taking responsibility and have a natural service spirit.
