As a consultant with us, you will take on an exciting and developmental assignment where you work with cutting machining in a modern and technically advanced environment. You will become an important part of a competent team and collaborate closely with experienced production engineers to prepare and drive prototype parts from concept to finished production.

About the role

The role involves NC programming in modern environments, for example in Mazak multi-tasking lathes with the Mazatrol Smooth control system. If you have experience or ambition to develop within CAM, there is an opportunity to work with EdgeCam and simulation in Vericut.

A central part of the assignment is also to support production in daily work. You act as a technical sounding board and problem solver for operators, handling production technical challenges quickly and in a solution-oriented manner. Support is provided both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, and is always prioritized highly. Your ability to collaborate smoothly and contribute a positive and non-hierarchical attitude is therefore crucial for success in the role.

Example of tasks

• Preparation of prototype parts in cutting machining
• NC programming in Mazatrol and/or CAM systems
• Simulation and verification of programs
• Tool selection and process optimization
• Creation of work instructions and control documentation
• Trial runs of parts in CNC machines
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving in production
• Technical support and close collaboration with operators

Who you are

We are looking for you who are passionate about technology and want to continue developing within production engineering. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you get to take responsibility, solve problems, and contribute to improvements.

You have:

• Experience in cutting machining
• A few years of experience as a production engineer or CNC operator with technical responsibility
• Good understanding of multi-tasking lathes
• A structured and solution-oriented working method
• A non-hierarchical attitude and ease of collaboration

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with Mazak and Mazatrol Smooth
• Worked in CAM systems, preferably EdgeCam
• Experience with simulation, for example in Vericut
