Do you want to lead exciting projects at the forefront of technology? Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga is looking for a Project Manager who wants to take responsibility for driving our production and development projects forward. Here you will combine technology, quality, and leadership in a key role where you contribute to both our success and that of our customers.

Your Role

The role of Project Manager involves driving production projects related to development, capacity enhancement, and relocation of production sections for Dynamics production. The goal is to ensure our customers receive their products on time and with the right quality. You will lead and coordinate project team members within production technology, planning, purchasing, production quality, and other production resources. You will also have contact points within the business unit and development.

Your main tasks include planning, coordinating, and leading industrialization and/or capacity-enhancing projects together with the Development Project team. As part of the work, you are responsible for achieving, reporting, and following up on project goals and metrics, as well as identifying and managing risks within the projects.

Understanding the challenges of different cultures within different organizations or nationalities is an important part of your work. You will create and maintain good relationships with all relevant contact points and regularly report the project status to the steering group.

The position is located in Karlskoga, and you will become part of our project office, which connects the production's commitments with the Business Unit Ground Combat.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is accustomed to leading, organizing, and taking responsibility, and who thrives in an environment where both people and structure are in focus. You have several years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment, and you are used to driving complex assignments from start to finish. Perhaps you have previously worked in the process industry or another form of production, where you have learned to understand the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of technology, quality, and delivery.

You have a good technical understanding, preferably with an engineering degree or equivalent experience from working life. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to switch between the operational and the strategic. You have the ability to see the big picture while ensuring daily operations run smoothly. You enjoy taking initiative, creating structure, and leading others toward common goals.

Your communication skills allow you to easily build trust both internally and externally, and you have no problem collaborating with different parts of the organization.

The role involves many contact points, both within Sweden and internationally, so you need to be able to express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Since you may need to travel between our various sites, it is also important that you have a valid driver's license (Category B).

Here you will have significant responsibility, but also the opportunity to influence and develop. If you have experience from production management, production technology, or specific knowledge of our products, it is certainly an advantage, but most importantly for us is that you are the right person, with the right drive, the right attitude, and a willingness to contribute.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at the time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
