About the role

We are currently looking for a driven and meticulous measurement technician with a focus on quality for our client. Here you will have an important and varied role where you work closely with production, customers, and suppliers, while having the opportunity to influence and develop quality work within the operations. This is a role for you who thrives in a technical environment where quality, precision, and improvement work are at the center. You will work both operationally and developmentally, with great opportunities to take responsibility and contribute your own ideas. Main responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility for programming and optimizing our Zeiss measuring machine
• Develop and streamline daily measurements for technicians and operators
• Responsible for calibration of all measuring equipment
• PPAP and first article inspection measurements including documentation
• Handling customer and supplier complaints as well as internal deviations
• Root cause analysis, 8D reports, and improvement proposals
• Creation of control instructions and measurement protocols
• Training of technicians and operators in measurement technology and equipment
• As needed, stepping in to assist other departments

Your profile

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of programming and measurement in measuring machines
• Generally good knowledge of measurement technology
• Good knowledge of reading drawings
• Experience in complaint handling and customer/supplier communication
• Basic knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001
• Experience in first article inspection handling
• Fluent Swedish and very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

• Experience with PPAP and FAI
• Experience with small tolerances, cleanliness requirements, and complex parts
