Alde International Systems AB is a world-leading company in the development and manufacturing of water-based heating systems for caravans and motorhomes. The company has its headquarters and production in Färlöv outside Kristianstad, as well as operations in Germany, the UK, and the USA. Alde is known for its energy-efficient and comfort-oriented heating systems used in leisure vehicles worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, we are looking for you who want to help build strong supplier partnerships, streamline and develop our purchasing processes, and contribute to our continued success! The role involves:

• Developing and establishing long-term supplier relationships, both in Sweden and internationally.
• Responsible for supplier evaluations and ongoing follow-up.
• Negotiating, drafting, and following up on contracts.
• Identifying and evaluating suppliers to ensure that the right materials, components, and services are purchased on time, with the right quality, and at the best possible cost.
• Executing call-offs, handling order acknowledgments, and following up on deliveries.
• Participating in product development projects with responsibility for identifying suppliers and ensuring material and component supply.
• Working closely with planning and production to meet the business's needs for delivery precision and quality.
• Optimizing inventory levels, inventory value, and lead times with the support of relevant KPIs.

You report to the Supply Chain Manager and have approximately 10-20 travel days per year.

Your Background/Qualities

We are looking for you who have at least five years of experience from a broad purchasing role in manufacturing operations. You have post-secondary education in purchasing, engineering, or equivalent, and are accustomed to working analytically with figures and data. You work independently, have good system proficiency, and experience with business systems – we use Monitor. We appreciate that you are driven by developing working methods, creating efficiency, and have a genuine interest in technology. In the role, you communicate daily in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of German is an advantage. To thrive in this role, we believe you are curious, down-to-earth, and analytical, with the ability to think logically and see the big picture. You work proactively, take initiative, and are open to new ways of working. You are a skilled negotiator who communicates professionally and builds good relationships in an open, non-hierarchical, and team-oriented environment.
