About the role

We are looking for an engaged employee who wants to become part of our product and application team in Danderyd. Relay testing is your primary task, with the opportunity to broaden your expertise in testing all devices in the substation protection chain. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of world-leading products, help customers with complex problems, train customers, and train and support our sales network globally with a focus on the Nordic region. There is a high degree of freedom in shaping the role. Below are some typical tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Support our sales channels with application and technical support (pre-sales and after-sales), product selection, and quotations
• Conduct training for sales channels and customers, both at the office and at the customer's site
• Contribute ideas, knowledge, and other feedback to product planning
• Create customer-oriented material such as articles, application notes, and videos
• Stay informed about technological development, standards, norms, and measurement methods
• Perform validation of newly developed features
• Make frequent trips, primarily within the Nordic region

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience testing relay protection and control equipment in substations and who want to stay within the same field but from a different perspective. You should be solution-oriented, enjoy working in a role with many varied tasks, and like building relationships with people. You likely have an engineering degree and a genuine interest in technology, and you welcome a free role where you plan your days yourself under your own responsibility. You are also a team player who thrives in an international environment and has a desire to develop together with us.

To succeed in the role, we want:

• Good ability to communicate both in English and Swedish, both in writing and speech
• Ability to work independently with own drive, while also being good at collaborating.

Competence requirements:

• You have relevant technical education, for example from college, university, vocational college, or other equivalent education, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in relay testing in field environments, preferably with experience from several test equipment suppliers
• Good general understanding of electrical engineering in general
• Computer literacy

Desirable competence/experience:

• Testing/commissioning of control equipment such as Station Scada, Station HMI, RTU, etc.
• Conducting presentations, training, and writing technical documentation.
• Programming and scripting in modern programming languages such as Python
• Network and diagnostic tools (Wireshark, port-mirroring, VLAN).
• Metrology/calibration and statistics related to testing (repeatability, dispersion, acceptance criteria).

Other information:

• Start: As soon as possible, by agreement.
• Scope: Full-time.
• Location: Danderyd, but some remote work is possible.
• Employment type: Permanent employment with a fixed monthly salary.
• All employees at Megger Sweden are covered by collective agreements.
