About the position
Njurunda Friskola is a comprehensive school (grades F–9) with an associated after-school center. The school is centrally located in Njurundabommen, approximately 20 km south of Sundsvall. Njurunda Friskola has been under current ownership since 2012. Although the school has grown during its years of operation, we have maintained the feeling of our former "smallness," and most people know each other well, both across grade levels and in work teams. We consider it very important to build good relationships with our students.
We are looking for a teacher qualified in crafts (slöjd) for grades 3–9.
You naturally possess strong subject knowledge, but we are also looking for someone who is a good leader in the classroom and makes teaching both challenging and enjoyable. You will plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching in collaboration with the school's textile crafts teacher and other colleagues. In addition, you will serve as a mentor for a mixed-age group.
The position is 50%.
The position can be expanded to more than 50% if you are qualified in additional subjects such as music, home economics (Hk), and visual arts.
We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis throughout the application period (until June 26).
