About the Role
As a Logistics Operator at APM, you will work with the unloading and loading of containers on ships, as well as the movement of cargo on the terminal. You will perform these tasks using reach stackers, tugmasters, cranes, and other machinery. A significant portion of the work is carried out at height. Safety and precision are of utmost importance, as you will handle valuable cargo and advanced equipment. The work takes place in an environment where safety awareness is highly prioritized.

In your role as a Logistics Operator, your main responsibilities will include: - Unloading and loading of containers - Movement of cargo on the terminal

The position of Logistics Operator is a full-time consultancy assignment with a rolling start from September 2025. Flexibility is crucial in this role, as working hours may vary and sometimes change with short notice. Therefore, you must be prepared to work different hours from week to week, as we do not have a fixed rotating schedule. Working hours vary; all types of shifts are available, including day, evening, night, and weekend work.

About You
We are looking for you with at least 3 years of continuous work experience where machine proficiency and cargo handling are required. Alternatively, education focused on vehicles/technology is accepted. Communication is primarily conducted via radio, which requires clear communication skills.

We also look for candidates who are positive and self-assured, solution-oriented, and responsible with self-drive, while also thriving in a team environment. You have a strong service orientation and put the customer first. It is also important that you can handle stress and maintain focus even in pressured situations, as the work is sometimes performed under time pressure. You must be safety-conscious to prevent accidents.

Key requirements for the role: - Category B driver's license and at least three years of driving experience - Machine proficiency, such as forklift operation, truck driving, bus driving, etc. - Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written - Completed upper secondary school certificates in Swedish, English, and Mathematics

Meritorious qualifications: - Category C driver's license and experience driving buses/trucks - Interest in the Port of Gothenburg and shipping/logistics

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A security clearance check will be conducted by the Port of Gothenburg prior to employment.
