In the role of Senior Quality Engineer with our client, you will play a central part in ensuring and developing quality within the company's global supplier network. You will act as a key link between internal functions and external suppliers, responsible for driving quality improvements throughout the entire supplier lifecycle.

You will work with quality issues related to suppliers, processes, and products, with a focus on deviation management, improvement work, change management, and quality monitoring. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams within quality, purchasing, production, and product development.

A key part of the job involves analyzing quality-related problems, conducting root cause analyses, and driving corrective actions together with internal and external stakeholders. You will also monitor quality-related key performance indicators (KPIs), identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to developing working methods and processes to ensure long-term sustainable solutions.

Furthermore, you will be involved in the qualification of new suppliers and products, review technical documentation, and ensure that changes in the supply chain are handled according to established processes and quality requirements.

• A completed university degree or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Quality Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in supplier quality, supplier development, or quality work in close collaboration with external suppliers.
• Good experience working according to APQP and PPAP standards.
• Experience driving quality-related projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily internal and external communication.

It is not required, but an advantage if you have:

• Experience from operations with high quality and documentation requirements.
• Experience in supplier evaluations or quality audits.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
• Certification in quality auditing or quality management.
