ABOUT THE ROLE:

In the role of Senior Quality Engineer with our client, you will play a central part in ensuring and developing quality within the company's global supplier network. You will act as a key link between internal functions and external suppliers, responsible for driving quality improvements throughout the entire supplier lifecycle.

You will work with quality issues related to suppliers, processes, and products, with a focus on deviation management, improvement work, change management, and quality monitoring. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams within areas such as quality, procurement, production, and product development.

A key part of the job involves analyzing quality-related problems, conducting root cause analyses, and driving corrective actions together with internal and external stakeholders. You will also monitor quality-related key performance indicators (KPIs), identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to developing working methods and processes to ensure long-term sustainable solutions.

Furthermore, you will be involved in the qualification of new suppliers and products, review technical documentation, and ensure that changes in the supply chain are handled according to established processes and quality requirements.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Hold a completed university degree or master's degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, quality technology, or another relevant technical field.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry.
• Have experience in supplier quality, supplier development, or quality work in close collaboration with external suppliers.
• Have good experience working according to APQP and PPAP standards.
• Have experience driving quality-related projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily internal and external communication.

It is not required, but advantageous if you have:

• Experience from operations with high quality and documentation requirements.
• Experience with supplier evaluations or quality audits.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
• Certification in quality auditing or quality management.

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at our client's site.
