Are you a Human Factors Engineer with experience in physical ergonomics and systems engineering? This could be your next job.

We are currently looking for a Human Factors Engineer for a technology-intensive company where you will work closely with product development, requirements management, and verification in complex system environments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical perspective who also understands how humans, products, and usage environments interact in practice.

Here you will work with ergonomic analyses, requirements definition, and testing in development projects where safety, usability, and functionality are in focus. This is a role for you who wants to combine human factors with technical system understanding and contribute early in the product development process.

About the Role

As a Human Factors Engineer, you will work with requirements management, ergonomic analyses, and verification related to product development and technical systems. You will be involved throughout the entire development process and work closely with both development teams and other technical functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate user needs into technical requirements and system specifications
  • Work with requirements engineering and verification of requirements
  • Plan, conduct, and document tests and evaluations
  • Perform ergonomic analyses and assessments within physical ergonomics
  • Work with methods such as RULA, REBA, and NIOSH
  • Conduct analyses and evaluations using VR and digital mannequins
  • Create mock-ups and prototypes for testing and evaluation
  • Collaborate with various technical disciplines within product development and systems engineering
  • Contribute a system perspective where humans and technology are integrated in a safe and functional way

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience in Human Factors Engineering with a focus on physical ergonomics
  • Has experience in systems engineering or product development in technical environments
  • Has worked with requirements management and technical specifications
  • Has experience in testing, verification, and validation
  • Has a good understanding of the interaction between humans, systems, and the usage environment
  • Has experience with tools such as Creo and Jira (specific tool experience is not a requirement)
  • Speaks and writes fluently in English and can communicate effectively in Swedish

Meritorious Qualifications

  • Experience with INCOSE or working according to systems engineering frameworks
  • Experience with CATIA
  • Experience with Figma or Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience with VR-based ergonomic evaluations
  • Experience from product-centered development in complex system environments
