Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for an engaged teacher for Perslundaskolan in Ockelbo Municipality. Together with your work team, we want to create the best conditions and a secure school day for all students. As a teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching in collaboration with your colleagues. You will also collaborate closely with the Student Health Service.

You will teach mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology in our special education group for grades 7–9. The role also includes supporting students as a resource in other subjects and serving as a mentor.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher with eligibility to teach in one or more of the subjects mentioned above. Previous experience as a teacher is desirable, as are knowledge of NPF (Neurodevelopmental Conditions). You should be well-versed in the school's governing documents and able to apply your knowledge effectively in your daily work.

To succeed in this role, you have a professional attitude and work to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are an engaged educator who takes responsibility for your students' results and places great importance on adapting your teaching to the different conditions and needs of your students.
