You will step into an important development project where reporting and statistics in Power BI are to replace an existing solution in WebFOCUS. The role is closely linked to the HR function and involves making data more usable, reliable, and relevant for monitoring and analysis.

You work at the intersection of business and technology. This means you capture needs from the business side, translate them into data models and reports, and collaborate closely with internal IT and BI resources responsible for data flows to the data warehouse in Fabric. You will also familiarize yourself with data from business systems such as Heroma, Raindance, and WebFOCUS.

This is a role for you who enjoy combining technical depth in Power BI with business understanding and clear utility in a socially important environment.

• You develop reports and statistics in Power BI that replace existing reporting in WebFOCUS.
• You ensure the quality of HR data and contribute to making the reporting accurate, usable, and sustainable over time.
• You translate requirements regarding monitoring and reporting into data models, datasets, and Power BI reports.
• You act as a key link between the business and the BI team, helping to clarify needs and requirements.
• You work with data from several business systems and familiarize yourself with how the systems function to build the right solutions.
• You document the solutions you create in a structured and understandable manner.
• You collaborate closely with internal IT and digitalization functions and share knowledge with internal resources.

• You have relevant education, such as a university degree in data/systems science, economics, or equivalent, or alternatively higher post-secondary education in Business Intelligence.
• You have at least 3 years of documented experience, at least 50% of full-time, in developing and implementing Power BI reports.
• You have experience with BI reports or output from business systems in municipal or regional operations.
• You can perform complex data modeling in Power BI.
• You have advanced knowledge of Power Query and can write and optimize DAX functions.
• You have good modeling skills and experience integrating and processing data from several different data sources, including SQL Server, Excel, and other third-party sources.
• You have good knowledge of system integration with business systems.
• You have good knowledge of performance optimization in Power BI reports.
• You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• You have a good ability to understand and work with output from municipal business systems.
• You work in a structured manner and document your work clearly.
• You have good experience collaborating in teams and with IT units and other stakeholders.
• You have good knowledge of GDPR and how regulations affect data handling and storage.
• You have experience from at least two similar assignments.
