About the job

The Swedish Tax Agency uses an agile framework where IT collaborates with other departments in agile development value streams. You will be part of and influence the ongoing change journey. You will work as a Service Manager/Product Manager with a focus area in Data & Integration, where the product teams for integration, database, and application server are part of the Platform Services section. Together with other service managers and service architects, you will lead the provision of platform services to the Swedish Tax Agency and cooperating authorities.

Together with stakeholders, you will identify needs required to achieve the prerequisites needed for sustainable management and development in the area of Data & Integration.

In this role, you ensure that the technical direction and vision from management are communicated to the team so that you together have clarity and prerequisites to conduct efficient operations. You collaborate closely with your teams, management, and the business, ensuring both current and future needs are met. You may act as an Epic Owner and drive transformation initiatives within the area.

Together with the Business Owner (BO), this role is driving the creation of 5-year roadmaps for Data & Integration and ensuring quality assurance for product teams' roadmaps and lifecycle plans. You monitor the entire area's economy and plan and follow up on the service area regarding IT costs together with Product Owners. In the role, you collaborate with suppliers, KAM, SDM, and BO to create decision support regarding new investments and materials for long-term economic planning. As a Service Manager, you ensure that there are relevant contracts with suppliers and that the management of these is handled. The Data and Integration area is used by the Swedish Tax Agency and cooperating authorities; in the role, you are responsible for keeping users and customers in focus during the development and delivery of services.

The role also includes staying updated with trends and acting as a knowledge seeker within new innovations and technological development in the area. You will have the opportunity for varied tasks involving several generations of technology, platforms, and tools.

The Swedish Tax Agency is now entering a new phase of construction and innovation as we will deliver IT services and IT operations to more government agencies. Therefore, we are scaling up and strengthening our teams with new employees who want to work with the delivery of these services to Swedish authorities.

About you

You must also have:

• a university education or equivalent education in IT that the employer deems relevant for the role, or alternatively at least 5 years of documented current and relevant work experience in IT
• several years of relevant work experience from working in similar roles
• knowledge and work experience of agile working methods
• knowledge and work experience of system development and system management

It is desirable that you have experience working in complex system environments, preferably with authorities or other large organizations, as well as experience in specifying requirements for external suppliers and leading forward-looking operations and business dialogues.

The employment is permanent and may start with a probationary period of six months.
