Your duties include, among other things:
- Ensuring the airport has sufficient resources to conduct operations according to requirements and governing documents
- Developing and maintaining an effective management system covering safety, quality, and aviation security – and ensuring it is used in practice
- Ensuring the right organization, staffing, and clear delegations within the operations
- Ensuring operations are maintained even in the absence of key personnel
- Driving and developing flight safety work and promoting a strong safety culture
- Ensuring operations are conducted within given frameworks – and adjusting the scope as needed to always prioritize safety
- Ensuring contracts with suppliers and partners are correctly formulated and meet operational and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with authorities, airlines, and other actors within the aviation industry
Your Profile - Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for you who is a confident and clear leader with the ability to take overall responsibility in an operation with high demands on safety, structure, and regulatory compliance. You have a good understanding of what the role of Operator in Charge entails in an EASA-regulated environment and thrive in a context where safety, quality, and compliance are central. You have knowledge of flight safety work, risk management, and regulatory requirements, as well as experience with – or a good understanding of – how management systems function and are used in practice. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have a good business acumen as well as experience collaborating with external stakeholders such as authorities, suppliers, and partners.
It is meritorious if you have experience from a leading role within airport operations, other safety-critical operations, or operations with clear regulatory requirements. Experience of contact with authorities, audits, regulatory compliance, and work with steering, follow-up, and goals within a management system is also an advantage. As a person, you are structured, proactive, and inspire trust in your leadership role. You have good decision-making skills – even in complex situations – and combine a strong safety focus with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach. You also have good collaboration skills and thrive in a role with many contact areas, both internally and externally.
What We Offer
A strategic key role with significant mandate and responsibility, where you will have the opportunity to influence and develop the airport's future working methods and safety culture.
