Are you an experienced Business Controller with strong analytical skills and experience driving change in complex organizations? We are now looking for an Interim Group Business Controller for an exciting assignment with our client, where you will play a central role in developing and adapting financial reporting and monitoring structures in connection with major change initiatives. This assignment suits you if you thrive in a business-close role focused on controlling, reporting, and financial transformation.

The assignment starts in August and is an interim role of initially approximately 6 months, where you work as a consultant via Vindex.

About the role

In the role of Interim Group Business Controller, you will work closely with the group function and finance department, focusing on further developing and adapting reporting, planning, and monitoring processes. The assignment involves several change initiatives related to financial control and reporting, and entails a central role in driving the organization's change work forward.

The role involves close collaboration with various parts of the business and requires good communication skills as well as experience and ability to independently drive projects and change initiatives.

Location: Stockholm

Main responsibilities

• Adapt reporting structure in connection with the transition to IFRS
• Adapt and develop reports in connection with changed reporting structures
• Rebuild and further develop planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting templates
• Ensure efficient and well-functioning reporting and monitoring flows
• Work operationally in Excel with financial modeling and reporting
• Support the business and finance department in change and development work
• Participate in the development and improvement of financial processes, control, and monitoring
• Contribute analysis and decision support to the group function and management

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

• Experience with IFRS conversion or working in an IFRS environment is a requirement
• Extensive experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Very strong skills in Excel and financial modeling
• Experience in developing or rebuilding reporting and monitoring structures
• Good habit of working independently and driving change initiatives
• Experience working close to Group Finance or group function is advantageous
• Experience with finance transformation or projects related to changed reporting requirements is advantageous
• Experience changing from a functional P&L to a cost-type P&L is advantageous

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in Business Controlling in larger and complex organizations. You have a very good understanding of financial processes and reporting flows, as well as experience working in change and project environments.

To thrive in the role, we believe you are a confident and experienced person with high analytical ability and a structured approach to work. You are accustomed to working in changing environments and have the ability to combine a holistic perspective with operational execution.

You work independently, are solution-oriented, and easily build trust within the organization. Furthermore, you are communicative, pedagogical, and enjoy collaborating with different parts of the business to drive development forward.
