Do you want to make a difference for children, young people, and their families? We are looking for an engaged and skilled psychologist for our clinic in Kumla. With us, you will get a secure start in a well-functioning operation, with dedicated and experienced colleagues by your side.
The clinic for mental health issues in children and young people has been in operation since March 1, 2022, and is an important part of Region Örebro County's initiative to strengthen early care. The target group for the clinic is individuals aged 0–18. We have gone through a development phase where we initially faced certain challenges. Through purposeful work, we now have well-functioning operations at our clinics in Örebro, Karlskoga, Lindesberg, and Kumla. Here, dedicated and competent employees work today who are passionate about the mental health of children and young people.
As a new employee, you will receive a secure introduction together with experienced colleagues. We believe in close collaboration between our clinics to provide children, young people, and their families with early, professional, and coordinated support.
Fixed-term full-time position until 2027-08-31.
Job DescriptionThis position is aimed at children, young people, and their parents. You provide evidence-based, stepwise interventions in the form of assessment, psychoeducation, and psychological treatment for health-promoting, preventive, and therapeutic purposes. Interventions are provided both in person and digitally.
You work in a multiprofessional team at one of our clinics. You collaborate with neighboring healthcare providers and municipal operations in individual cases to create and make health-promoting interventions accessible at a broader level for the county's children. The position may include responsibility for supervising PTP psychologists.
QualificationsWe are looking for a licensed psychologist who wants to develop and make primary care interventions accessible to children and young people with mental health issues. You have experience in assessing and treating children and young people with mental health issues. Experience working with this target group in primary care is particularly meritorious. Interest in working with lifestyle issues is an advantage. As a person, you are responsible, structured, creative, and easy to collaborate with. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
