We are looking for you who want to work together with a driven and engaged team to create the best possible conditions for our students! We are currently looking for a Home Economics teacher for grades 6–9.

About the School

Alneskolan is located at the top of a residential area in Bonäset, with nature right at your doorstep. The area is situated approximately 4 kilometers from the center of Örnsköldsvik. Surrounding the school are forest trails, wind shelters, and illuminated running tracks. From Järvedsvägen, you can quickly reach the school via "Slinger," a walking path through the forest that gets your heart pumping!

In addition to students from preschool class up to grade 9, the school has three after-school centers and seven preschool departments. The school is led by two principals and one preschool manager.

Responsibilities

You will teach Home Economics and handle the documentation and contacts that come with the role. The position also includes mentorship. You will work as part of a team to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching, as well as participate in the school's systematic quality work. Contact and collaboration with guardians are an important part of the job.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching degree and subject competency in Home Economics. You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create structure, coherence, and good relationships. We would like you to have experience leading group processes and adapting teaching to the needs of the group and individuals.

We are looking for someone who likes to be challenged, think new thoughts, and sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development.
