About the Role

We are now looking for an Electronics Engineer (junior to senior level) for a section that is in an exciting transition phase. Previously a more dedicated hardware design and production-oriented function, the section is now developing into an established Maintenance & Support organization focusing on aftermarket, support, and product care for existing systems.

You will work in a cross-functional team consisting of both mechanical and electronics engineers, where you together are responsible for rapid changes, additional orders, and technical improvements, primarily related to defense systems on ships. The role involves close collaboration with deputy project leaders (DPL), system engineers, and other designers.

The work is often carried out in the form of shorter work packages rather than long development projects. This may involve analyzing existing solutions, developing change proposals, updating electrical schematics and documentation, and implementing technical changes. You will also work with product care, handle components that have reached end-of-life, and contribute to testing and verification activities.

The role is varied and involves working in parallel with several tasks where priorities may change quickly depending on customer needs. You will have the opportunity to work close to real installations and contribute to ensuring functionality and quality in technically complex systems.

Your Competence

• Relevant post-secondary education in electronics or equivalent work experience
• Experience in electrical design and schematic drawing
• Understanding of electrical systems and their structure
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawing materials, and technical documentation
• Good ability to work with technical problem solving
• Swedish citizenship

This position is located in security-classified operations. To be employed, you must undergo and pass the current security clearance procedure.
