Then we have the perfect job for you. At Specsavers in Örnsköldsvik, we are currently looking for two new employees – one for a 50% permanent position with a 6-month probation period, and one for a 75% fixed-term contract for two years. Start date is mid-August or by agreement. The store opening hours are weekdays 09:00–18:00 and Saturdays 09:00–15:00. We follow the collective agreement of the Swedish Retail and Hospitality Workers' Union (Handels). Work is performed according to a rotating schedule with shifts on weekdays and every other weekend. Your responsibilities You do not need previous experience in optics – we provide you with a thorough introduction through practical on-the-job training in the store combined with digital courses. After the introduction, you will become an important part of the customer experience in the store, where you welcome customers, explain the importance of eye exams, and tell about Specsavers' concept and offers. You help customers find the right frames, lenses, or contact lenses based on the optometrist's recommendations and ensure that every customer leaves the store satisfied and eager to return, while also being an ambassador for Specsavers' goal of making better eye health accessible to everyone. - Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
