Job Description

Do you enjoy working with people and want to make a difference in your work? Within personal assistance, we are now recruiting staff and substitutes for several different users. Users with various functional variations and of different ages. We are looking for staff and substitutes for several cases, including a child case in Stigtomta and a case involving mental health issues.

The role of a personal assistant involves a wide variety of tasks. The work entails assisting and supporting the individual in their daily life according to their needs. You ensure that daily life becomes safe and meaningful, adopting a rehabilitative and health-promoting approach. As an assistant, you play a vital and supportive role in enabling the individual to live a life as similar to others as possible and in community with others.

Involvement is of utmost importance, as is respectful treatment. You work based on the decisions and guidelines applicable at the workplace and document according to the requirements of the National Board of Health and Welfare. Daily life is adapted to the individual's needs, and you take the initiative to actively find and motivate stimulating indoor and outdoor activities for the user. Other tasks may include helping with transfers, hygiene, care, housework, shopping, communication, and leisure activities.

We are looking for two or three permanent employees as well as a number of substitutes.

Qualifications

You should:

• Have a nursing assistant education or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Have education and experience in psychiatry and mental health issues (meritorious).
• Have experience and education regarding children with functional variations.
• Be responsible and sensitive.
• Be flexible and cooperative.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Master and understand the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Have knowledge and experience of various functional variations.
• Have experience in care work.

As a person, you are secure, responsible, and sensitive to your surroundings. You are also pedagogical, flexible, and have good teamwork skills. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

A driver's license and access to a personal car are required for these positions.
