In the heart of Skövde city center, just five steps from the train station, you will find us: Scandic Billingen, the perfect starting point for both guests and employees. Our hotel is located in a historic building where we boast, among other things, a banquet hall with a ten-meter ceiling height, making us more than happy to host large events. We are now looking for a skilled employee for the restaurant at Scandic Billingen.

Here, you will take significant responsibility for making the decisions required to satisfy the guest. The team develops and improves work methods and service in line with changes in the external environment. What does the role involve?

You are the first person the guest meets in our restaurant, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor, are attentive to details, and aware of the guest's needs. You have an interest in food and drink and enjoy order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues, all to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and drinks and to manage your own cash register. Of course, you will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who are you?

To fit the role, we believe you have some experience in similar work. Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is an advantage.

However, the most important factors are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and non-hierarchical team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
