About the role

As a Service Technician at MULTIVAC, you will be a key person in ensuring that our customers' equipment operates optimally. You will have a varied and technically challenging role with significant responsibility and freedom, working closely with our customers – primarily in southern Sweden, with a geographical focus around Halmstad. Therefore, we prefer that you are based in Halmstad and surrounding areas, which provides good conditions for efficiently planning and carrying out your assignments. You will work from home and can expect approximately 50 overnight stays per year.

You will become part of our service team, which currently consists of 15 experienced technicians spread across the country. You will handle smaller assignments independently, while larger installations and service interventions are carried out in teams. The size and complexity of assignments vary – no week is like the other.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Service, installation, and troubleshooting
• Technical support and consulting on-site at customer locations
• Working both independently and in teams depending on the scope of the assignment
• Travel within and outside your region, with some overnight stays
• Close collaboration with our Service Manager and colleagues for knowledge sharing and support

Who are you?

To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe you have several years of experience in technical or mechanical work – preferably combined with electrical knowledge. Perhaps you currently work as a technician, mechanic, plant technician, industrial electrician, or within automation. If you also have experience with food machinery, packaging machines, or similar technical equipment, it is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You are a solution-oriented person who likes to get things done, is self-motivated, and confident in planning your own work. You thrive with freedom under responsibility and have a structured approach to work, even when the pace changes. With your curiosity and technical breadth, you easily grasp complex systems – whether it involves mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, or software.

You have a valid driver's license (Category B), are flexible regarding travel and working hours, and are comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. The most important thing for us is your attitude – that you are service-oriented, engaged, and want to develop together with us.
