We are looking for a Preparation Engineer (Beredare) for our client in Örebro, a global leader in mining and construction equipment.

About the role

The role of the Preparation Engineer is crucial in the process between R&D and production. A well-functioning preparation process provides the best conditions for building machines efficiently. As a Preparation Engineer, you drive your own assignments and act as the technical link between R&D and production. You have a broad network and support our production flows and ongoing projects.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Maintain numerous internal and external contacts, mostly with suppliers via email.
• Create new customer orders in the M3 system.
• Provide support to an assembly flow, where communication and information are key components.
• Receive CNs (Change Notices) in Teamcenter and be responsible for preparing them in M3.
• Work broadly within the group and provide support to other flows as needed.
• Be responsible for follow-up and feedback through continuous improvement work.

You are analytical and interested in improvement work. As a person, you are service-oriented, flexible, and innovative, while also being detail-oriented and comfortable with routine tasks.

• A university or civil engineer.
• Structured in your work and capable of identifying improvements, both large and small.
• Communicative and skilled at building relationships, both internally and externally.
• Proficient in the Teamcenter and M3 systems.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
