Job Description

Gustavsberg manufactures brass fittings and mixers for water systems in residential and multi-family buildings. Batch sizes vary between 2,000 and 50,000 units. Since multiple machines are often run simultaneously, there is approximately one changeover per shift.

The company is currently in the middle of upgrading its machine park, replacing old machines with new, state-of-the-art ones. They are looking for a long-term placement, so proximity to Vårgårda is desirable. The position is an assignment via NearYou to Gustavsberg. Shift work is included.

Gustavsberg's machine park is evolving, and we are therefore seeking new competence for their facility in Vårgårda. We are now looking for a driven and meticulous CNC operator/setup technician (preferably with some programming competence in ISO) for Gustavsberg's lathe department. The position involves operating both modern and older bar-fed lathes with magazines, where the older ones are being phased out gradually.

The existing machine park consists of: Index, Gildemeister (multi-spindle), Wickman (multi-spindle), Citizen, EMCO, Mazak, and simpler Traub lathes.

The role initially focuses on operating machines with measurement, dimension correction, and loading, as well as preparing and performing changeovers. For the right person, there is an opportunity for direct employment with Gustavsberg, as well as the possibility to work with CNC programming.

Qualifications

We are now looking for you who have experience with CNC turning. We believe you are a driven and curious person who wants to grow together with the client.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Good command of Swedish in speech and writing
• Experience with CNC work, either through education or employment
• Ability to handle machines mechanically as changeovers are part of the job
• Ability to measure and read drawings

Merits:

• Experience with curve-controlled or multi-spindle lathes
• Experience with CNC programming
