Do you want to work with meaningful safety where people's health, security, and working environment are at the center? We are now looking for a Security Coordinator for our adult psychiatry operations.

Responsibilities

As a Security Coordinator, you work both strategically and operationally with security issues within adult psychiatry. You work on direct assignment from the operations manager as a specialist support to the operations and collaborate with other managers, staff functions, healthcare personnel, the region's central security organization, and external actors.

In this role, you are responsible for coordinating and developing the operation's systematic security work with a focus on creating a safe and secure working environment. The work involves coordinating and participating in risk and vulnerability analyses related to threats, violence, environment, and working methods, as well as coordinating the handling and follow-up of threat and violence incidents. You investigate serious incidents and act as a support to managers in developing and implementing measures.

Furthermore, you are responsible for developing, revising, and implementing routines and guidelines within the security area, as well as planning and conducting training initiatives for staff, for example in threat and violence management, alarms, and security awareness. The role also includes participating in the operation's crisis and contingency work, as well as collaboration with the police, property owners, security providers, and other external actors. You continuously monitor and report the security situation to management and actively contribute to developing and strengthening the operation's security culture.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant post-secondary education in security, risk management, healthcare, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience in security work, preferably from healthcare, psychiatry, or another complex operation, and possess good knowledge of occupational health and safety-related legislation. The role requires you to work independently, structured, and analytically, with the ability to handle both operational and strategic issues within the security area.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in psychiatric care and knowledge of threat and violence prevention in care environments. We also view positively experience with incident investigations, risk analyses, and conducting training or presentations for groups.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you are confident, communicative, and have good collaboration skills. You are stress-resistant and have the ability to handle sensitive and complex situations in a professional manner. Furthermore, you are pedagogical and can build trust in the organization through a clear and engaging working style. You are solution-oriented and motivated by driving improvement work forward.

A B-driver's license is a requirement.

Employment terms

Permanent position, full-time, daytime hours. Start date according to agreement.

The position is placed in the operations management with a location in Västerås but also involves mobility within the different parts of the operation area in the county.
