The Department of Community Development is responsible for the municipality's properties, streets, traffic, nature, water, and sewage, waste management, and more. We work close to our citizens' daily lives, which places high demands on knowledge and service. We are located in newly renovated premises in Danderyd center with good public transport connections.

The Water and Wastewater (VA) operations belong to the VA and Waste Department, which is part of the Department of Community Development. Here we work with all types of VA issues in a small group. Constant development, learning new things, and helping each other characterize the group's work. The mapping is central to our work, so you will have an important role in our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Strategic Mapping, Surveying, and GIS Manager, you are an important part of the VA operations at the Technical Office. Your main tasks will be to be responsible for security issues related to the digital mapping material that VA has access to, and to function as the system manager for the VA operations' mapping system. In the part concerning security responsibility, you work with the increasingly high demands placed on information security. Within the role of system manager, it includes managing and developing the VA database, being responsible for upgrades, launching new functions and working methods related to the VA Bank. Since we are a small VA group working with many different types of issues, you will contribute your knowledge in many different contexts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are a Mapping, Surveying, and GIS Engineer or have equivalent adequate education within GIS.
• Have knowledge of security work around mapping tools.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge or experience of the VA Bank or equivalent systems and/or experience from the VA industry. Experience with SQL and database management is also meritorious, as well as good knowledge of English.

You have a drive to develop and be developed, have a pedagogical ability, and find it easy to collaborate with others. Furthermore, you should be meticulous, solution-focused, and quality-conscious with a structured approach to work. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
