We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who wants to work with advanced technical systems and contribute to the development of future high-tech solutions. In this role, you will work closely with software, electronics, and system design, with a particular focus on model-based development, simulation, and programming for embedded systems.

You will become part of a cross-functional team where you work through the entire development chain – from requirements management and system design to implementation, simulation, integration, and verification.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system models and simulations in MATLAB/Simulink
• Work with implementation and development in C for embedded systems
• Define and manage system requirements and technical specifications
• Participate in system design, architecture, and technical analysis
• Collaborate with teams within software, electronics, and mechanics
• Contribute to verification, validation, and system integration
• Ensure quality, traceability, and compliance with relevant standards
• Participate in technical reviews and troubleshooting activities

We are looking for someone who has

• A university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical physics, computer science, or similar
• At least 4 years of experience in systems engineering, embedded development, or model-based development
• Very good knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink
• Strong programming background in C
• Experience working with embedded systems and real-time systems
• Good understanding of system architecture and requirements management
• Experience with verification and validation of technical systems
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written — Swedish is a requirement for the role

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience from the automotive industry, defense industry, or other high-tech operations
• Knowledge of functional safety and standards such as ISO 26262 or IEC 61508
• Experience with model-based development (MBSE)
• Experience with tools such as DOORS, Polarion, or Codebeamer
• Knowledge of electrification, battery systems, or power distribution
