Within the Care and Social Services Administration, full-time work is the norm. This means that all permanent employees are fundamentally employed on a full-time basis. Hagundagården is located in the quiet villa area of Vänge, about 10 km from Uppsala. Hagundagården has 4 wards and 42 apartments. 24 of our places are for dementia care and 18 are for nursing care. We offer the possibility of shared apartments for couples. The apartments are on the ground floor, surrounded by outdoor areas, lawns, bushes, flowers, and a small pond with a fountain. The bus stops near the residence, and free parking is available here.

Description of duties

As an Assistant Nurse, you have a varied job with several different tasks. You play an important role in the daily lives of our residents, helping them with personal care, meal support, and mobility. We work in a person-centered way, and you will play a key part in creating meaningful and secure days for our residents. At Hagundagården, we place great emphasis on offering outdoor activities as well as pleasant and meaningful activities, so experience in planning and conducting activities is an advantage.

Your duties also include performing tasks delegated by licensed personnel, and you document your work according to the Social Services Act. You work to create and maintain good relationships with our residents, relatives, licensed personnel, and your colleagues. The work may also include palliative care in the final stages of life.

At Hagundagården, we actively work with continuous improvement and development, where you are expected to contribute to the development of operations together with your colleagues. You are part of a team and participate actively in the joint work with and for our residents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an Assistant Nurse and hold a protected professional title according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. This is important for being able to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues, as well as for documenting according to current routines. You feel confident working under delegation and have experience working within elderly care.

We are looking for you who are proactive, positive, and receptive. You take personal responsibility and plan your work with our residents in focus. You adapt easily when conditions change and see opportunities in new situations. We place great emphasis on collaboration, so it is important that you work well with others and build good relationships through a receptive and flexible approach. In your interactions, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating. You have a genuine interest in helping others and work diligently to find solutions that make a difference.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.

Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
